Question of the day:

What is ICT?
ICT is simply, Information Communication Technology
However, apart from explaining an acronym, there is not a universally accepted defininition of ICT? Why? Because the concepts, methods and applications involved in ICT are constantly evolving on an almost daily basis.
Its basically the area of managing technology and spans wide variety of areas that include but are not limited to things such as processes, computer software, information systems, computer hardware, programming, and data constructs. In short, anything to do with computers and other such technology.
A good way to think about ICT is to consider all the uses of digital technology that already exist to help individuals, businesses and organisations use information.
ICT covers any product that will store, retrieve, manipulate, transmit or receive information electronically in a digital form.
In the end of it, the most simple, yet informative, definition would have to be that ICT is the use of technology for input, process, storage and transfer of data and the output of information
